S Tier
These characters are considered the “best of the best” for their performance in almost every game. They often have high utility skills, constant damage and/or map control abilities that make them difficult to counter.
- Luna Snow (Strategist/Vanguard)
Great for healing and control because of her ultimate, which can “freeze” the pace of the game and provide tremendous utility to the team. - Doctor Strange (Vanguard)
Very tough, with excellent defensive capabilities (shield, teleportation portal) and a devastating ultimate: he is one of the most difficult tanks to eliminate. - Magneto (Vanguard)
A steady tank offering control and burst damage; its ability to generate shields and boost damage makes it extremely reliable. - Emma Frost (Vanguard)
The big news introduced in the patch. With her hybrid kit-which combines a laser attack in Human Form and devastating melee potential in Diamond Form, along with a ranged psychic shield-she is quickly establishing herself as a top choice among vanguards. - Wolverine (Duelist)
A tank eliminator par excellence, with regeneration and “rage” accumulation abilities that grant him damage and sustain in 1v1. - Hela (Duelist)
Constant source of damage, with a kit that rewards accuracy and good positioning, proving lethal against “squishy” enemies or tanks. - Invisible Woman (Strategist)
Provides healing and control (invisibility, push opponents) making her difficult to block, as well as providing solid protection for the team. - Loki (Strategist)
Very adept at creating confusion with his deceptions and illusions-when mastered, he is almost impossible to “neutralize” because of his mobility and the support he offers. - Storm (Duelist)
Equipped with an ultimate capable of disrupting enemy defenses and powerful aerial attacks, it is a formidable weapon especially when combined with team synergies. - Winter Soldier (Duelist)
With a balanced kit between constant damage and control skills (hooks, recovery while loading the ultimate), it is very effective in changing the pace of the match.
A Tier
These heroes are solid, with excellent performance and versatility, while not achieving “S” excellence. They are reliable choices in almost any composition, although they may not be prime targets in the higher competitive stages.
- Star-Lord (Duelist)
High mobility and burst damage; his ultimate and fast-moving abilities make him dangerous while requiring good pace management. - The Thing (Vanguard)
A robust tank with excellent crowd control capabilities, making it difficult for the opponent to break the front line. - Captain America (Vanguard)
Versatile and balanced in both defense and offense, it offers protection to the team and can block enemy initiatives. - Groot (Vanguard)
Useful for position control and for reinforcing critical areas, thanks to its defensive “walls” and excellent positioning. - Hulk/Bruce Banner (Vanguard)
While not the most “tech” in the meta, its mobility and combo damage make it effective when supported properly. - Namor (Duelist)
Thanks to his “immunity bubble” against divas and the support of his ranged attacks (with the help of his “pets”), he is a solid choice against agile teams. - Psylocke (Duelist)
Offers considerable versatility due to the ability to span ranged and melee attacks, with an ultimate that can close lanes. - Adam Warlock (Strategist)
An excellent support that combines healing, damage, and an ultimate capable of turning confrontations around. - Mantis (Strategist)
Provides constant healing and some useful boosts, contributing to both protection and overall team damage. - Cloak & Dagger (Strategist)
With reliable cures and exit skills, they are an all-in-one choice that increases team resilience.
B Tier
These characters are good and can be competitive in certain situations or specific compositions, but they are more dependent on skill or synergy with other characters.
- Black Panther (Duelist)
Good in burst and speed, but requires good aim and timing to be really effective. - Spider-Man (Duelist)
High potential if mastered, but needs good knowledge of web-slinging and combo timing to make the most of it. - Human Torch (Duelist)
It can give considerable damage, especially with team-up, but its lack of mobility makes it vulnerable. - Hawkeye (Duelist)
Its output is very high if you can load the “focus” skill correctly, however, it is rather fragile and requires precision. - Peni Parker (Vanguard)
Effective mainly on defensive maps, but its usefulness in rapid combat situations is less. - Iron Man (Duelist)
Good air damage and support with a powerful ultimate, however, it is often exposed to countermeasures and requires good positioning. - The Punisher (Duelist)
Solid in the shooter role with consistent output, but his kit is rather linear and less versatile.
C Tier
These heroes are generally considered less competitive in the current meta. They may work in niche teams or lower-level games, but they require special adaptations to be effective.
- Iron Fist (Duelist)
It has high burst potential, but its execution is difficult and the result can be inconsistent. - Jeff the Land Shark (Strategist)
Offers support and utility, but lacks an ultimate difference-maker at critical stages. - Moon Knight (Duelist)
It can give a lot of area damage in certain situations, but its effectiveness depends a lot on the setup and coordination of the team. - Rocket Raccoon (Strategist)
A valuable support, especially for its revive capabilities, but it fails to emerge as a primary choice. - Squirrel Girl (Duelist)
While she has “underrated” potential, her consistency and overall damage are not at the level of other higher-end duelists.
D / F Tier
These characters are generally considered uncompetitive in the current meta. They might still amuse you in casual games or in certain situations, but they are not recommended in competitive settings.
- Black Widow (Duelist)
Its abilities and kit are less effective than the alternatives; it often struggles to take off in the meta. - Scarlet Witch (Duelist)
The over-time damage it provides is too weak and reliable, especially when compared with more explosive options. - Mr. Fantastic (Duelist)
A hybrid that tends not to excel in either damage or tanking; currently its versatility is insufficient to compete with the best.
– Emma Frost, with her dual state (Human and Diamond Form) and psychic abilities, emerges early on as one of the most promising vanguards in the new patch; she is particularly effective in teams geared toward controlling tempo and sustaining at a distance.
– In general, the current meta rewards characters who combine utility (healing, shields, mobility) with burst damage abilities, so the roles of Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist are often interconnected in synergy.
– The final choice will depend on your play style, team composition, and the particularities of the selected maps.
This tier list is meant as a guide to give you an idea of which characters to invest in the new meta, but the game, like all competitive titles, is constantly evolving with updates and changes. I recommend you keep an eye on the latest known patches (such as those presented on MarvelRivals.gg and other industry sources) for updates and insights.
